WHAT THIS MEASURES

The Founder Diagnostic finds the first thing everything else is waiting on, and places you at its edge. It does not average your answers. It does not produce a score.

It finds the order — which decisions are settled, which are not, and which one is holding everything else. It reads your declarations across three blocks.

01

Aspiration

What you are building toward.

02

State

Where the business actually sits.

03

Ground

What the business rests on.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A classification card — not a score. The diagnostic places you into one of nine classes on a dependency chain.

Each class is named for what is settled at that position. The report carries a reading ID. Nothing identifies you — quoting the ID means a conversation starts from what you actually answered.

The result tells you where you stand. What you do with it is yours.

RECOGNITION

A headline naming the thinnest thing.

THE CLASS

Your position on the ladder — e.g. Built on Instinct, 1 of 9.

THE EDGE

Why that position matters right now.

THE ROUTE

What the next settled state looks like, broken into its components.

FOUNDATION

A six-domain read: Coverage, Allocation, Runway, Deciding to Hire, Talent, Compliance.

THE METHOD

Nothing is averaged. Order, not score. It stops at what it can see.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Early-stage founders. Pre-seed to Series A. Pre-revenue or early revenue. The period after product-market fit when instinct stops being enough and there is not yet enough evidence to be sure.

YOU SHOULD TAKE THIS IF

—

Decisions that used to be obvious are starting to feel arguable.

—

You have customers but no repeatable pattern in who buys.

—

The next hire, the next feature, or the next market feels like a guess.

An initial read. Not the intervention itself.

FROM RESULT TO NEXT QUESTION

01 — WHAT IT ESTABLISHES

The first unsettled decision on the founder’s dependency chain—the thing everything else is waiting on.

02 — WHY IT MATTERS

Later decisions become noise when an earlier foundation remains unresolved. The instrument establishes order rather than averaging symptoms.

03 — WHAT IT REVEALS

The result places the founder in a class, names the edge of that position, and shows what the next settled state would require.

04 — IF THE GAP IS MEANINGFUL

A meaningful edge can become a focused conversation about the real decision holding the business—not a generic founder roadmap.

It stops at what it can see. Where the evidence runs out, so does the read.
